Miranda J. Mills approaches each one of her cases from the perspective of the client, with the goal of obtaining an outcome that meets that client's individual circumstances. Miranda is based out of the Charlotte office and represents clients across North Carolina in state and federal court.

Miranda gained her first taste of criminal law while serving as a summer intern at the Mecklenburg County District Attorney's Office. She went on to receive the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers Book Award for her superior performance in her Trial Advocacy course during her third year of law school. After law school, Miranda served as an associate attorney with Carl Parrish Law, PLLC, a small firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During that time, Miranda gained extensive bench trial and jury trial experience in the areas of criminal and family law.

Miranda has extensive experience defending individuals facing serious felony charges, including Common Law Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon Intent to Kill, and Possession with Intent to Sell & Deliver Marijuana. In October of 2013, Miranda achieved a Not Guilty verdict for a client charged with Statutory Rape and Abduction of a Child.
